Hey guys. Don't know much about the truck. I can't seem to get any ideas. Friends 97 7.3 is hesitating. If he floors it, the thing is a pig. At 2500rpm it takes off quick. What could be causing the hesitation. He hasn't had codes pulled yet. And not sure if he has checked fuel pressure. Thanks guys

It idles fine until it warms up. Then has a very very slight lope. And the miss can be heard throughout the whole time its reved up. Seems to run fine at a steady speed. But also seems to lack some.power on acceleration

How many miles on truck. Does it have trouble starting once warm. Check the fuel filter to see if its black.

For the idle issue, this ^^. Bad injector orings can cause warm running issues.

247k. Harder to start warm than cold

This can be bad injector orings or bad IPR orings
