Replacing The Mirrors
has anyone replaced there mirrors for the newer ones(off of the 92-96 body style). i can drive for a while in the truck and the mirrors are fine, but once i get up to highway speed they take a nose dive. i guess the joints arent up to it. i dont know. any info would be greatly appreciated.

ive never seen one of our model of trucks with new mirrors. personally i think it would look like crap. my mirrors also need to be replaced and i saw some little circle mirrors that i think would look good.

Replacing The Mirrors
Hey check your mirrors to see if there is a phillips head screw on the bottom near where the post goes in. I had the same problem,put replacements on...and when I got the old ones off,I noticed the screw that tightens them up...could have saved a couple of bucks...

Yes, I've done it. I had a bunch of photos on the net, but the site crashed and dumped them. I'm working on getting them all into my signature link, but those aren't up yet. I'll post a few there now for you to check out, and maybe the rest soon.
