5 Star Tuner?
I have a 2002 F-250 Super Duty Lariat, with the 6.8 V-10, 4.30 gears, 6 speed manual transmission, and 54,000 on the engine.
I just replaced the spark plugs and boots and I am waiting for the ordered exhaust parts to upgrade to Banks headers and a Flowmaster stainless cat back.
I have a 12 ft. slide in camper, that I use in the summer and the rig has been to Alaska and back with no problems.
Will I gain anything with the 5 Star tuner and a 6 speed manual transmission?

Besides what it does for the automatic tranny, I truly believe you will benefit from the tune even with a manual tranny.
I would ask Mike@5-star and see what he says to begin with.

I assume the Banks headers also comes with a new Y pipe, otherwise, you will need one to complete the best experience. If I were you, I'd contact Mike at 5 Star and ask him direct, he will not BS you about what he can or can not do for you.

Yes the Banks headers do come with a redesigned Y tube that flows much better.
I'll contact 5 Star and see what they have to say. I was hoping for a first hand account from a member that had good results.

Mike at 5 Star is a straight dude, he won't tell you BS just for a few bucks. Each truck has different mods and will have different results, so you can't go on just someone that has a great result or none at all. Mike will plug in your mods and give you his best tune.
