I have been given a 1990 F250, but its auto and it has a 460 in it, but the body and box are in great shape. I have a 1990 with a built 302 and a 5 speed. The body on my truck is shot, but the suspention and running gear are good.
Could any body give me advice on which route to take to make one good truck out of two.

 

you dont say what kind of shape the 460 engine and the auto trans are in ... if they are good, i would hesitate to take apart a perfectly good truck. i would rather sell it and look for a truck with good body/bad engine/trans to put your power train into.

 

Ya it runs good but its a 460 and around this area people dont want them at any price. Guess I could put a cummins in it?!

 

If the 460 truck is in good shape I wouldn't take it apart, I would sell it or keep it and just try to find a good body for your other one.
