97 4x4 conversion
97 F250 7.3 PSD with E4OD
My truck is currently 2wd and i want to convert it to 4x4, using a solid axle.
My question is this, does anyone have a parts list or website that lists interchangeable parts? I want to keep it an automatic as my knees are shot.
I recently replaced the E4OD (ouch) and would like to keep it.

In order to use your trans, you'll need to change the output shaft and the tail housing. A front shackle reversal kit is an easy way to get a front spring mount. The rest is pretty much bolting on the stock 4x parts. The 350 in my sig was 2x when I bought it.

Research "RSK" and diesel brad. I believe he has plenty of information on here for you to do the swap easily.
The rsk is the quickest and easiest way to convert to 4x4 and also get a better ride without sacrificing load rating.

Why electric. Cut a hole in the floor and put factory shifter in there.
