Exploded parts diagrams, please?
Hi guys, so I have a 1985 F-150 with a Straight Six 300 with a four speed behind it, I am trying to find some exploded view diagrams for my truck, mainly the right side of the engine. I'm looking for some smog parts. I don't have a clue what they are called. I want to know what the part is called and the part number or numbers for the pipe that threads into the exhaust manifold and attaches to the base where the E.G.R. valve mounts to, mine are rusted up bad and I'm having a hard time finding it. I would like to just have the charts to reference to for the future, thanks in advance.

Hello, and welcome to the forums.
There's always the possibility that someone has some diagrams laying around, but generally, that's a pretty tall order. Especially since every year can be a bit different.
Your best bet is to track down a Chiltons or Haynes manual, or go on eBay and find some original manuals.
Otherwise, take pictures of what you're unsure about and post them up here and people can see if they can help you.
As for that particular pipe, as far as previous discussions have concluded, it isn't available anywhere. Your best bet is to have something custom made with a pipe bender if you want to replace it. Or, find one in nice shape in a junk yard.
Best of luck!
(PS: It's usually good practice to use driver's side/passenger side when referring to where something is on an engine. Right side/left side completely changes based on whether you're sitting in the driver's seat or whether you're standing in front of the hood looking into the engine bay.)

Truck Parts & Truck Accessories for Chevy, GMC, Ford & Dodge Trucks | LMCTruck.com Perusing the LMC catalog might help you identify the needed parts.
The piping from the exhaust manifold to the EGR has been made using the SS line for a gas appliance like a water heater or stove. Some adapting with fittings is usually necessary.
