Had been in a wreck, still fighting over who will pay, but was left with a caved in bumper and was so tired of looking at it that I spent my own money and put a new bumper on. It is a new take off from a 2014 4X4, same bumper as before but the 4X4 has a much bigger air dam.
Really like the way the new air dam looks, so much closer to the ground. Heck, maybe it will do some good for fuel economy!
Will be getting a new grill as soon as I find a right priced chrome one and am undecided about the fog lights.
It was a multi vehicle wreck, so that is where the dispute is coming from. The only good thing was that the damage hasn't affected the trucks ability to keep me working.
The freaking prices that ford gets for new parts is just crazy though, repair estimate was about $4200, and all but a few hundred was parts!
Only gave $175 for the new take off bumper and all the brackets.
Is your truck a 2x4? They have smaller air damns. 4x4's have the larger one. Reason was to divert air around the front axle to try to get the mileage up and maybe to hide it some??

My truck is 2wd, and the air dam on them is less than half as tall as the 4X4 one.
And I'm sure the 4X4 is so much taller because those trucks sit up so much higher.
But, I like the way it looks and will be road testing it on Friday, supposed to be facing a strong north wind, that always kills my mileage so if the air dam helps any that'll be great.
