I have danced the PHP dance since May of last year, and I can verify the customer service has been just South of abysmal. I have been ignored many times by every possible electronic means, but I always had a work-around to resolve whatever issues I had... so I let it all slide.
However, the last three weeks have been a whole different matter. I about filled my underwear when Corey answered the phone on the second ring... I personally welcome her back to the family. Instead of listening to computer messages like "I'm sorry, that extension is does not answer", I talked to a live person every time I called. I received live online support with the first call on more than one occasion. I actually received a phone call, asking how I wanted something shipped. I had important information emailed to me the day before I needed it. I set an appointment for being online with Bill, and they were awaiting my call when the time came.
While I'm still wrestling great irk with my PHP backstory (which I was already primed from Stinky's injector/tuning/cup woes for a year), I must call attention and give highest kudos to the recent sea-change in customer service at Power Hungry Performance. I hope this is not a blip... they have excellent products for modders.
Now if someone told me they were days away from having some other switch options for the Hydra instead of the Atari era one they have now I would be doubly happy.... :-)
PHP.....gauge mount......gauge.......mount......gauge mount !!!! :-)

On another note.....did Riff Raff ever get back to you about your order?

member on another forum, milled out a piece of aluminum and mounted it. Looks sweet. Think he's taking orders now. If i find it, i'll post/pm you
I hope they can keep it up. Customer service really makes or breaks a business.
That's one reason why Jody at DP-Tuner has done so well for all these years. He has what I would consider very good customer service, just like Clay at Riffraff, John Wood at John Wood Automotive, Beans at BDP, Dennis at ITP, Joey at Terminator Engineering, Steve at Tousley Ford, and Bob at Diesel Site. I'm sure there are lots more, but those are the ones I've personally dealt with so I can speak from my experience.
Having PHP step up only makes it better for us diesel enthusiasts.

Negative. Like I mentioned to you, a couple emails, vmail etc. and total radio silence I will eventually muster the energy to track him down on the return. I'm not hurrying or being totally bent out of shape since it is only a $60 issue and I was able to souce the one I ordered (vs. the one I got) locally. I consider myself hopefully the one in one hundred issue..... Who knows, the more I think of it the more it aggrevates me....
EDIT: Clay reached out and we are all good.....again, not the end of the world :-)
Timmyboy, thanks for the link.....
I think if they offered a gauge mount switcher like the F6 even at a modest upgrade cost of like $35 or so it would be well received....if only at my house, but well received nontheless.
I realize we buy the chips for the core function and not the looks, but call me crazy, I spend time in the cab, I don't want it to look like I cobbled things together and I don't want to hack apart my dash to fit a switch in it if I don't have to.
