Properly mixed antifreeze has almost no chance of freezing -74F to -84F depending on the brand. When temperatures start dropping below about -50F they don't turn off their equipment.
apparently there are/were some who 'improperly' mixed....then. I have no first hand experience where it's cold. However I do know the "stuff" never freezes and never expands. So for you frosties not having to rely on electricity or fuel freezing or properly mixing and then the engine quits... seems like a good idea. I'm just a messenger looking for facts so we can all learn sumtin'.
I totally agree, I have never seen any "lifetime liquid" that is worth it, in fact lifetime is just a sales gimmick that I never listen to. If you look at statistics you won't even have your truck as long as you may think...............WASTE!
Thanks for your "opinion". Any real experience with the product? Anyone?
No, I tried to make sure I qualified my responses above and make it clear my posts weren't from personal experience. Hope I didn't make you think otherwise.
Also, I'm not in the "hate" camp. I feel Evans is good stuff, just not worth the fundage because the best coolant for diesels that use water provides more than enough protection for a lot less money.
If I could afford it, I wouldn't hesitate to run Evans in my Lightning.

Like I said... dino or synthetic... does the cost outweigh the gain? That camp is still arguing. These debates and discussions typically result in a Berlin wall of sorts in the absence of actual usage or real life experiences.
I may ask for a sample under the premise we (the lab at my co.) want to test it for our fleet usage. I know a guy....
Ya know if this stuff could be recycled like oil ... hmmmmm. The whole world is goin' green 'cept us prius eaters.
