Done.....for now!

WEll, with my setup I could stand to use some more power. I definately wouldn't want to put a camper or a big boat behind it. My dad used to haul an 18' Jayco with his 93 302 and it was a dog but I would guess mine is worse. You get a headwind of any intensity and your constantly in the gas peddle (even unloaded). My best advice is to look for a 351, and I dont care if it can't come with an manual, its still well worth the extra power. I have said it before and I will say it again, I will NEVER own another small engine in my entire life. Im already thinking a V10 250 sounds about right I do like the 302, it can waste my friends 305 clunker, but I just like a little more spunk. Gas mileage hasn't changed as far as I can tell. Just last weekend I went to the lake (130 miles one way) with a four wheeler in the bed and a bunch of gear. I was going 65-70 on the way down and 80+ on the way back. I averaged 12.5 MPG. I figured that wasn't to bad considering it was hilly country with a small load while fallowing my friend who likes to haul A@@. I am also considering stepping up to a 6" and 35"s. Problem is, trying to make it fit in the garage I have about 2.5" of clearance as it is, and I have big doors. If I parked outside I would have went with a 6 in the first place. I think I could get away with the 6" but if I went to 35"s I wouldn't clear. Anyone have any thoughts on how a 6" lift looks with 33's?

Nice truck! What's the best way to get the rivets out of the old brackets?I was thinking about burning em off with a torch but am worried that it might bugger up the holes in the frame.Drilling looks like it would be a major pita.
