Another brake conversion question
I just saw a website where the person used front disk brackets, calipers, ect from a 76-77 250 and fit them on a d60 rear. Anyone do this yet. The only mod appeard to be new holes in the brackets. Seems like a fairly easy swap.

Several people make a bracket for that conversion.. Unless you have a set of the front brackets lying around they would be hard to find. The swap I used takes the dana 60 front rotors and a custom bracket and a variety of calipers. It sounds like you could do some quick measurements if you have a donor and find out pretty quick if it will work if it is a matter of drilling a new flange pattern.Axle flange offset would be the only problem that I can think of, but could be fixed with a slight shimming of the bracket. Better yet, ebay the front brackets if you have them and buy a kit with the extra money.
