I'm still a SoCal'er! 
If we can find a good location (maybe with some off road and/or 4x4 options) that is close enough for some people to come for a day trip, and others to camp at, I would enjoy that!
I found some awesome secluded camping spots off the 33 near our Ballinger OHV area. Too hot for this time of year though. No 4x4 required and nothig really to do other than camp. Maybe shooting, but I'm not up on the current National Parks shooting laws.
What about like a Yosemite trip? Who doesnt love Yosemite?
