i was on vacation last week and i saw a myrttle beach ranger with
a police interceptor sticker on it. what motors in it ? is it a 4.0 special service or 4.2 sho? thanks for any ansers. ( dad haules fords for e & l transport and he thinks 4.0)
What year was the Ranger? I don't ever recall Ford ever offering a PI version of the Ranger. That may be "badge engineering." There's an 80-year old guy here in town with a Crown Vic LX that's got whitewalls, wire wheel covers, fake convertible top- and a "Police Interceptor" badge on the trunk!
Probably had a 2.3 4 banger engine in it with a $1.50 police interceptor sticker.....
