Josh , kudos to you for saving more old iron .Parts trucks? If so I would be interested in any heaters ( Magic Air ) fresh air tubes & related parts .Thanks , Denny
Scott. I might have some extra marker lights. Ill dig through the box.
These trucks didnt have an magic air heaters but ive got some parts. Habe to look through the attic.
Thanks all, but these trucks were not or are not prime candidates for much. The 48 is better than the 51 but they are rought. 51 is in pretty sad shape, if i dont sell it complete ill part it out.
As far as my luck goes ill put it like my FIL says. " even a blind chicken gets some corn every once in a while"
All i need now is a trailer like Chris's ...
Oh the tow rig is a 05 dodge ram 2500 5.9 diesel. With190k miles
Got to go back for the f3 and might have found a 53 golden jubilee ( ive been keeping an eye out for one, or a good 8n. (More stuff, thats what i need(
Josh, I'm picturing these two trucks in your yard. And I'm wondering how you'll arrange them so you can get at the others already there when needed. That's quite a collection you have there.
I try not to ever envy what someone else has, but your not making that easy. As my mind momentarily drifts, let me see those trucks in a larger garage full of lots of cool tools, and ,/*%'<. oh I need to stop. But with all sincerity congratulations on a nice find, this is a great hobby, and it makes me happy just to see two more of these wonderful old trucks being saved.
Josh, you are a sick individual. Twice as sick as me. I only picked up one this weekend. 6 hours driving after the ferry and a mountain pass. Uphill both ways.....The flag at half mast was flying at the exit to Darrington/Oso where the mudslide was.
