That mountain pass looks pretty cold and snowy! Nice looking truck though,
I retrieved the 51 F-3 parts donor for my 51 F3 MH, found an F-1 tailgate along the way and picked up this 7’ Script Stakebed (yes it’s 7’ long ) I thought they came in 6.5’ and 7.5 lengths not 7’?
I also tried to adopt this 53 Golden Jubilee but we couldn’t agree on a price within $ 200 was probably just as well, had low oil pressure and the sheet metal wasn’t great and the emblem was missing among other issues. I’ll find another one someday.
Oh and a while ago between everything else got another 52 F-3 Parts truck, in sad shape but still some usable parts here and there. a Merc Flathead, 56 ford door, extra 51 52 grill parts and teeth, 51 f-1 hood trim, etc. the grill stuff and 56 ford truck door I had to dumpster dive for in the metal recycling haul off container since they were cleaning up the father in laws place. there was who knows what else in there down at the bottom.
Now I need to stop dragging crap home and go build something…
Josh , any Magic Air heaters , fresh air tubes ,cable control panels & etc. with those units ? Don't forget to look thru you a ttic for afor mentioned parts .Alos have a truck buddy who needs a left side grill tooth .Josh ,thanks for saving more old iron .Thanks , Denny
Josh, that is an amazing bunch of stuff you brought home!. Thanks to you, many more trucks will live with real ford parts and at less cost than the repops. My hat's off to you and your gallant efforts!
The Yellow 52 f3 box is pretty beat. But two of the stakepockets are good so will be able to use those.
The flathead in it is froze up along with the trans.
That 52 f2 that i got from Colorado with the F2 marmon herrington i will probably just sell complete. (Minus the dual bumpers on front since I promised one to someone! )
I fired up the flathead in that one last week, had good compression so might just be a decent runner?
