My dad was telling me about this stuff you add to your a/c system he said that it makes the compressor run more efficent and makes air comming out of the vents cooler. Has anyone heard of this or know what the name of the product is?
Don't add any of the freaky new "refrigerants" to your system. Most of them are explosive. The only things that belong in a vehicle's A/C system are oil and EITHER R-12 (Freon) OR R-134a (Suva). Anything else and you're headed for trouble.
Maxi-COOL is a excellent and leagal additive to a 134A system and will get your a/c cooling better but you cant just add a can if your system is fully charged already .so you need a good set of high and low readings and a temp conversion chart and then if i warrents you can yop off the charge with MAXI-COOL instead of 134. dont get the all in one cans eather with the iol and stop leak or leak detector just performance additive.
yes MAXI COOL it works! didnt get much colder than it normaly gets but does seem to get to its max cooling range alot faster!
I left walmart it was 93 deg today I took a five min drive to anther store and it was at 50 deg, I didnt see to do that before.
