Three on the tree trouble

I have a 78 f100 300 ciudad it will not go into gear when I depress the clutch. I work the gears with the truck off and the linkage lets me put it in all three gears and reverse with no issues. When it's running it grinds when I depress the clutch and try to put it in reverse, but will not go I any gear to include the other three. I'm thinking clutch, but since I removed the linkage and reconnected, is there anything to adjust with the linkage? Any ideas?

Sounds like you need to adjust the clutch.
You should be able to adjust the clutch out by turning the threaded pushrod that pushes against the throw out fork.
