1969 f100 custom cab Back up lights

I have had this truck for years and the PO put a toggle switch under the dash for back up lights. Its and auto on column. Where is the factory switch for reverse lights?

Included with the neutral safety switch on top of the column under the dash.

There is four wires coming from it. two for safety switch and two for back up light circuit. I think the back up wires are black with red tracer? Seems to be, maybe I'm cornfuzed.

Try this, put in reverse and with someone looking at the rear of truck, wiggle the shifter up/down a bit. Might be just out of adjustment enough to not function. Common problem, next to not starting due to neutral safety switch potion out of adjustment. There are two small screws that hold switch to column. Loosen and adjust.

C7TZ-7A247-A .. NSS (Motorcraft SW-600) / Located on steering column / Obsolete ~ Available from auto parts stores.

Applications: 1967/77 F100/350.
-------------------------------------
D0TZ-7B097-B (replaced C5TZ-7B097-A & D0TZ-7B097-A) .. NSS Selector Lever / Obsolete ~ 1,000's available NOS

Lever attaches to shift tube thru hole in steering column shroud, has a knife blade end that fits in NSS, it's notorious for snapping off.

Applications: 1965/77 F100/350.

well I climbed under the truck and everything seems to be there I am guessing switch is prob bad. It is missing the wire that goes from square plug on wire harness to the trailer hitch type plug that goes to switch on column. The square plug has a jumper for neutral and toggle switch is wired to lights. Does anyone know where I can get the trailer type to square connector wire for this?

Does anyone know where I can get the flat trailer type plug to the wire harness wire or colors to use a trailer hitch plug to splice into wire harness.

I do not know for sure but I would try two places. 1st being your local Parts Store down the "HELP" parts isle. Or ask someone at their counter. The 2nd would be a local U-Haul store.

Not u haul .......The wire harness connector is square...the connector on column is flat (like a trailer harness). So I was looking for wire to go between the 2
