How can they be Genuine Ford surplus if DC is reproducing them.
Why not call them what the are. Reproductions using Genuine Ford Tooling?
I think that is outlined here:

The way I read it "ACME" built the Genuine Ford Parts and shipped them to the Ford Dealer. Ford stopped buying them and now they ship them to Dennis Carpenter. So the only difference is the delivery address of the part. (And the pretty box) DC is not reproducing them he is just selling them.

I'm not wanting to argue, just call them what the are. Ronald now links them with nos. ???
I have the handles installed on the truck, fit if fine. I just thought future buyers needed to know that I didn't get what I thought I was buying. DC has made an honest attempt to correct the wording in the description and I say hats off to them for making the step in the right direction.
I plan on ordering a couple of cab to fender seals sometime next week either directly from you guys or from one of the other companies that you supply. For the record, I really don't care if they're NOS, Genuine, foreign knockoffs, reproductions, or whatever. I just hope they fit, and I'm sure they will. You guys keep up the good work. All of us here at FTE have been excited over the new products that have been offered lately, especially the new fenders.
