hey guys i posted about my truck blowing black smoke. now it wont start.
it has good compression. good spark and i fed it gas no fire. checked the firing order its good. changed the coil. changed the icm.no start. i guess i should tell about the truck. its a 97 ford 351w in a 84 all efi. it never give me any problems starting before. it was running nice one day i shut it down sat allnight went out next morning no start and haven't started since its been a couple days and im getting fed up with this thing
Sounds like you flooded it .or your getting way too much fuel.Pull all your spark plugs oil cylinders with a couple squirts of motor oil spin engine over then install a new set of plugs. What heat range what spark plugs are you using?

spark plugs dont even have 15 km on but there ngk plugs. just had a complete tune up
If they are gas fouled your engine will not start .Gas washes down cylinders you loose compression that's the reason you oil cylinders to get compression .Some times you can heat up your spark plugs burn fouled gas off them use a propane torch .I'd pull plugs oil cylinders if spark plugs are fouled out try cleaning plugs reinstall see if you can get it fired up .You may have to putt new plugs in if old ones are fouled real bad and won't clean up I personally would use Motorcraft or AC delco plugs
and when you turn the key on do your idiot lights illuminate you should see a check engine light of some sort why did you replace all those parts . sounds like the fuel was not burning or the engine flooded out. does the truck crank fast at all and what do you mean about the fuel pump you need to get the codes
did you do a leak down or just a crank

i tryed heating the plugs it dident help. the old plugs were clean same as these

because its a swap theres no idiot lights right now havent figured out how to yet and about the fuel pump i pulled the relay yes the truck cranks good
Run compression check make sure your getting spark to plugs maybe now your not getting fuel check all 3 of these .You need compression' fuel ' spark and air if you have all of these it should run as long as timing is right
do you have a tachometer and as far as compression and fuel and everything else you could be here all day are you able to get the codes off the truck how many miles are on the engine. you should use a spark tester that can check kv output. doe it smell like gas around the engine if so just to see you could disable the fuel and try cranking pull the vacuum line of the pressure regulator look and see if any fuel is in it during a crank
never mind about the miles what are your compression readings all cylinders close to the same

i allready checked the compression the compression is
1)150
2)135
3)150
4)145
5)145
6)115
7)132
8)132
it wont even start putting gas in the intake

ya it has a tach it has spark at the plugs
no it dont smell like gas around the engine
ok they sound pretty even do you have a fuel pressure gauge if it wont start with starting fluid then it sounds like you have to much fuel and it will not fire have you pulled the plugs since the no start.
