91 f150 column trouble

My old.column went out . So i bought a used one ,feels a little wore but not bad. Ignition is really sticky. Anyway i just installed the column checked all wires. Everything is hooked up. But i cant get power to the column, or the cab. Does a bad Ignitioncolumn cause this? No blinker no fuel pump nothing . Im going to be irritated if i got took for a column.

Did you get the fuel tank selector switch plugged in? That will keep the fuel pumps from running.

The ignition switch can be replaced separately from the column. Try these continuity tests:

I ran into the same issue with my 89 once in 90 they switched wiring harnesses so something's could be different. My truck was a 89 with a I6 and I swapped in a 91 351 column and it wasn't right. No cruise, horn, or ignition. Swapped one in from a 88 with a 302 and it ran fine... Just my two cents hope it helps
