Wheel arch rust

My '96 is rusting around the wheel wells, especially the right side. I live in PA and wondering if it would be worth it to go to the Carolinas and buy another bed instead of repairing my old one. I can get a full arch for less than $75.00 but I don't know if the metal is as thick as the original. any suggestions would be appreciated.

I live in the carolinas and i'm not sure that would be my choice. Anywhere humid is likely to have some rust build up there just due to the way it collects moisture. Imho you r better off fixingwhat you have than getting something that will rust at an accelerated rate once u get it back to PA. I was there last week, got home and immediately washed everything...what a mess!
Where did you find new arches?

Wheel Arches

It is called Mill Supply, Inc. and is located near Cleveland, OH. That is a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. I want to get the full arches and a bottom panel for one of my doors. I glued on the first set but probably did not coat the inside well enough.
