Custom fab ideas

I am looking for some dead on what parts I could fab up for our trucks. I have built custom bumpers but am looking for something at a smaller, less time consuming scale. I built a custom rock gaurd for my trans cooler which is mounted on the passanger outside framerail. It is hinged so when maintance is needed, take two bolts out and it flips down.

Any other ideas?

I also built a set of ss steps with line-x bolt on treads.

I seen a truck today with 3 lights, one on each tube comming off the body. Would be cool to integrate lights when the doors open

Thanks. I might to that. We are going to a wedding up there in June and I would love to run at least part of the Rubicon.

Can you make something Z-shaped that locks into the front hooks? Small gauge, lightweight, but can attach to a couple of 2X4s for a bumper-height front deck that won't kick away. I'm thinking two boxes on the end of each piece that the dimensional lumber would slide through... so the pieces can be carried as a "kit" under/behind the back seat. Make the gap between the lumber 2"-3", so the total foot area (including the 2"-3" gap to the bumper) is about 12". A third 2X4 with slightly less spacing between the boards would be plenty big, portable, easy to assemble, and sturdy.

Tug that's brilliant! For a guy in a truck as high as mine, I think I might make one of these for my truck

I could use a Tug-Step as well.......

Just have to keep the whole shindig from scratching the bumper etc. as you work and move around....

Ive had this similar idea a while ago. I would make the frame out of 3/4 square tube. Then LineX 14 ga for the platform. I would hinge the middle so it would basically fold into approx 2"x18x 24" or whatever would fit nice under/behind the seat.

Good idea!! Stows away in the truck!!
I'd also like to see something attached to a 2x6 or 2x8 that doubles as a cargo control barrier in the bed.

They've had these for a while now, they've just been pricey. Here's one from a quick google search. I remember seeing others on here in years past.
