How to: Modifying bottom rear mount for bullnose fender swap.
I've seen this asked a few times so here's a pic by pic walkthough to get your fender to bolt on if you swap a bullnose clip on.
What you start with:
Measure down about 3/4" to 1" depending how much margin of error you want for shimming and mark a line all around. Cut. A 4.5" angle grinder with cutoff wheel fit fine:
The bolt is going to come through right below that front piece so zip it off too:
Make a tab. I harvested mine from a junk bullnose cab I had but it's simple enough to make from scratch too:
Space the center of the hole out 2.25" from the back and weld it on, slip a clip nut over the hole and you're ready to mount your fender:
