headliner insulation?
my 95 F-150 didnt have a headliner optioned so I have the metal roof. Is it possible to put some insulation between the interior roof and the exterior one ( at least I think they are two seperate pieces) to cut out some noise? I went through a carwash the other day that has the overhead blowers to dry it off... and dear lord I thought I was driving through a tornado!

There is a product called DynaMat that is originally installed inside doors as well as roofs to deaden sound. Auto sound shops carry this stuff and so do body shops. You just cut to shape with scissors and peel the backing off and stick in place. After that is done, you could find a headliner in the bone yard and transfer it to your truck.

Sorry, dont know if i made it clear. I WANT to keep my metal headliner and not have cloth. I'm well familiar with Dynamat and thats what I was considering, I just didnt know if there is any room between the roof and metal headliner
