frame question

Are the frames the same from 80 to 97? If not what is different? I know the body styles changed, but did the frames? I have a 96 2WD F150 that I want to make a 3/4 ton 4WD. I have an 83 F250 4WD and 89 F250 4WD for frame donors. I want to use the 83 because the suspension is near new and engine there is new as well. The 89 will need suspension work and has no engine.

Any input would be great!

Thanks,
Keith

Thanks for letting me know. We just got finished putting a 96 cab on an 83 F250 4x4 and all is going well. We haven't completed the wiring, but I think we're on the down hill side of things now. First 96 I've seen with a 6.9 Diesel!

Thanks,
Keith
