Was hoping I could get some info on the (KOER) Cylinder Contribution test.
The test had failed and these codes came up
P0269-Cylinder 3 Injector Circuit contribution/Balance fault
P0269-Cylinder 8 " " " " " " " " " "
Also pulled up some TDC on AE
P0603-Internal control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error
P1391-Glow Plug Low Circuit Low Imput (Banke 1)
And other misc.
B1352-Ignition Key in Circuit Fault...I'm assuming it's cause the ignition has been replaced with a push button start.
B1450-Wiper Wash/Delay switch circuit failure....Everything works fine just the washer spray is weak.
B1310-Power door unluck Circuit failure....Probably cause the Pass door lock tends to sticks.
I don't have the actual data to back it up, but everything I've read says that unless you have an OEM black cam position sensor installed, take any CCT fault involving cylinders 3 & 8 with a grain of salt. If that's not the case, I'm sure someone will be along to refute it.
Clear the codes and ignore everything unless you're having some problem. The CPS that is used by Ford now throws a 3 & 8 contribution fault. Doesn't mean anything at all is wrong. It's actually normal.
As for the rest of the codes, clear them and take a quick drive and see if any come back. But unless you've got some symptoms, scanning a truck that is working great is typically just a waste of time.
The truck is running a little rough at a stop light/sign at idle in gear, to the untrained butt they would never fill it but I can.
My CPS is gray Ford replaced over the summer in October.
Fuel pump at idle is 65psi.
HPOP at idle is 600 and at WOT is @ 2700.
Edit: Any idea on the P0603-Internal control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error
P1391-Glow Plug Low Circuit Low Input (Banke 1)
I'll go ahead and clear the codes and go for a small road test.
I do have boost issues of a high at 10 I'm pretty sure my up pipes are leaking and the boots on the spider leak some oil, still dealing with a major oil leak on the pass side back of motor, not much oil in the valley and the plugs on the rear of the heads are dry. New O-Rings on turbo pedestal but did nothing the EBPV as it seems to be dry. The plan is to go with the riffraff 99.5 conversion kit just saving up the big $$$.
Being you have the E99 I'd do the T500 HPOP first even before the 99.5 kit. It made the most difference on my E99 and gain almost 2 MPG at 75mph. I do have the DP tuner so it really helped. You feel it in passing and just down right power on the freeways.
David, I'm going out to give it a shot. Thanks bud
Bonanza35, so far i'm hoping with the money is to buy the T500 with 99.5 conversion kit cause Clay offers a discounted price on the T500 as a bundle or at leas he use to before he rebuilt his web page... Hope he still will.
David, for the cylinder contribution what input do I use on the drop down window in the live data meter do I use? I couldn't find it. The only 1 I saw for all 8 cylinders was the cylinder misfire and I'm pretty sure thats not it. It's a little hard to see on your video which was which and so forth.
So am I, that's why I didn't tell you which one cause I wasn't sure of the name. Lol there are only 2 options that list for all 8 cylinders. Your right, it's not the misfire so look for another option. I'll try and find out for sure.
