How Rare?
To be a little more specific, you are talking 150's, right? Because on 250's it seems like every other one I see has dual tanks on a long bed.
No just long beds in general 150 or 250 always seem to have duel tanks at least I see more in the JY with duels than singles.
Back to your question. I am pretty sure I have seen a short bed with duel tank flaps....but not positive. So I think maybe kind of more rare than common.

Thank you. I'm going to try and keep a sharp eye out.
curiosity, would it be possible to take a short bed off a 250 that definitely has dual tanks, and then put it on a short 150?
Or even, have a custom hole/lid mad for a second tank? I don't know how you'd work the gauges out with that one though.

A short bed with duel tanks would swap over easy enough. Then is just the matter of getting a tank and some wiring, valve, switch....
Gas flaps get grafted into none gas flap beds all the time, know a good body work guy?
You could get a environmental control panel that has the duel tank switch and then have to tie it into the gauge harness.....might be a PITA.
Unless you are ready to swap a complete harness or it might be wired in there (in the OEM harness) already?
The guru's will answer that one.
