Your thoughts on this .Please
2 weeks ago I had my radiator replaced . when I got the truck back it was making a unusual sound that was not there before the repair. after the shop heard the sound. they said to bring it back in so they could listen to find the problem. over the weekend the water pump went out . the shop said that they pressure tested the radiator before I picked up the truck and it showed no problems is this unusual or should I find another repair shop? my truck is a 2008 I know things go bad after time but I find it suspicious of the timing. Your thoughts thanks
You stated that when you got the truck back from them that the sound was there. I would argue that the shop caused something to go wrong. It's going to depend on whether you immediately notified them of the noise or whether you drove it for awhile as to whether you will get any results out of the shop. I've had horrible luck with Ford's Service Departments around my area. I've used 3 of them, and each of them either cheated me, or caused damage to my truck that wasn't there before the repair.
I would argue the problem was caused by them and not back down. They have probably done something ( I may be biased but if what you're saying is that the noise wasn't there before ) then I would stand my ground. Hope this helps.
