i'm trying to track down some slack in my rear when i let the clutch out (low rpm) i hear and feel a distinct thump was told be a guy down the street that my rear wheels where hoping when i let it out .
he told me it was in the chunk so i yanked that out and found some play in the rind gear front to rear in relation to the front of the bronco
today i was discussiong this with someone at work and was told to check the drive shaft and xfer case for play with it in gear and this is what i found
there is play back and forth with it in gear (2h-granny low) how much play if any is there supose to be and if there is not supose to be any then is there an adjuster to remove some of the slack in it the rear chunk is going to be gone over by someone who is knowledgable in them since i already have it out any help with the other?
