Hi, i recently bought an 89 Ford F-250 xlt Lariat 2WD with a 351 Windsor V8 and 5 speed transmission. And while I had the truck parked in my driveway, i started the truck up to hear the V8 roar. And once i tried pushing down the clutch, it felt stiff but kind of went down and then i started pumping it and the clutch lost all pressure. And when i manually push the clutch up and down a line leading to the Transmission is leaking and it looks beat up a little bit. So im asking for help of how I can fix this, I am new to manual trucks but can still have access to a lot of tools. Anyone, please help me, i really want to cruise in my new truck.
Does it have a clutch slave cylinder?
Could it have a bad seal that is leaking on and running down the line?...
There is no slave cylinder, just a clutch master cylinder and the line that leads down to it. The line at the bottom that is connecting to the transmission is leaking
I think almost any aftermarket automotive parts store would carry this. Or like was mentioned, rockauto.
Do you know if the line and master clutch cylinder are 1 piece or two pieces? And should i just replace the line if I pump the clutch and the line is the only thing that is leaking?
Find where leak originates first.
Clean the area with EngineBright or the like, and that may help... If it is coming out of the bell housing, it is probably the slave...

I see the leak coming only from the end of the line after cleaning and stuff

Do you know that If I just replace the line, would I have to bleed the system?

Yes, if you change out the line or slave you will have to bleed it... It works just like your brakes, air in the line is not good...
Is it the line or the connection for that line?

It's the line, and do you know how I would get to the bleeder valve? Because i have no idea where it is
