He got here around 10:50 pm
We had to unload Bobs truck and drop his trailer , then Andy tells me that the truck he borrowed drop down goose ball is not working right and will not engage " lockin " are you f- ing kidding me!! This all happing at 11:30 pm after sitting there since 8:13 am.
I hook to it anyway and then load my f350 on to a very small trailer," like putting a sumo wrestler in a toto!!! Strapped it down and tell them I got reservation at the next exit down the road at a hotel next two the race track . Bob s truck will not pull my truck safely.Sooo...
We are going 1 mile west to the local Ford dealer and dropping off my 350 and I m leaving the big trailer with the 52 f2 on it.The f250 Andy drove out here is not going to be able to pull it back
We are going to try to put Bob's F1 onto his trailer( it holds air real good in at least one of the four tires.) if the the father son team thinks they have it covered I ll video it. It should be good for a laugh.
I will not be driving back today so I will keep you all posted...!

Holy cow!!
Just the other day I was saying to a buddy of mine
..."This is a stupid hobby! Nothing but pain and misery, burnt skin, busted knuckles, constant blood sacrifices to the old truck Gods, rusty worn out parts, nothing fits, a stupid, STUPID hobby!!!"
But then other times everything falls into place and this is one of the greatest hobbies you could ever be involved in.
Unfortunately it seems as if you guys are stuck in the "this is a stupid hobby" mode.
What a trip. Jus think of the fun you'll have for years to come razzing each other about The Great Bonus Built Debacle.
Have fun, get home safe.....well, at least get home
Bobby

Back in the late 90's I had a dream of being retired and being a Old Ford hunter - I would have an F6 or bigger and an old car hauler - I would travel the country finding old rigs, snatching them up and hauling the goodies home
I'm retired now but I'm also handicaped, which may be working in my favor. _ I read about your adventures and all I can see are road flares, tow trucks and waiting for the old Effie parts guy to show up.
Threr are more out there Bob and Chris - They are calling your names right now.
