no top end

no top end

Looking for a little help. Yesterday I started my 01 f250 and the service engine soon light came on shook real bad and had no power. So I looked up some old forums and came to the conclusion that the uvch had probably came loose. So today I pulled both valve covers and sure enough the ds plug was loose. That fixed the service light and shaking. Now I don't seem to have very much top end power. Everything was fine until yesterday. I'm sure it is something I did. Help! John

Are you sure all of your intake pipes/boots are in place and clamped tight? Do you have a boost gauge, and if so are you making boost? Does it smoke when you step on it?
