Looking for some new sticks
hey guys haven't been on here in quite some time but am needing some input. I have a late 99 6 speed with 260k on the clock and have the common mods of 6637,boost fuller, 5in Exhaust, dp tuner stock sticks stock hpop and stock turbo with these mods I can build right at about 32 lbs. I am wanting to go bigger with maybe stage 1s or if possible 1.5s with the same setup but am in need of some help on brand and hp range. I dd the truck with the occasional 15-20k load what injectors should I go with?
Thanks in advance

I'll just chime in once, without entering a dispute: New IH AC 160s with stock nozzles.
Why? No fear of reman issues and they are available anywhere you travel if an injector hiccup ever crops up in the future... and needed to swap one out. Custom sticks involve flow-balancing and waiting for a stick from the provider when things don't go as planned. The key point for this suggestion is you mentioned it being a daily driver - it's not a hobby you can leave in the driveway... like I've had to.

Much bigger air intake (6637 doesn't flow enough) and at least a 4 inch exhaust (I see you have a 5 so your good there). You are getting in to the realm of needing some fuel mods. A regulated return would be a good idea once you get to stage 2's. The stock turbo isn't enough to get the most out stage 2's either.

what is your goal?? staying with stock turbo? stock HPOP? My truck is a DD with 300/200 injectors and a list of other mods and tow all the time.. My suggestion would be get with a builder ( I use Full Force) and tell them what you are doing with your goals and let them suggest a good injector..

Im in the same boat with almost the same mods but a few more, im going with a builders stage 1.5 175cc with 30% nozzles and will be towing with that every day just waiting on tuning, so i would like some info on this topic too........your same mods and these-ww,ats ported housing, high flow turbo outlet, bigger banjo bolts, walbro pump, hutch mod,afe intake, valve body and some more im probably forgetting

I believe he was referring to IH AC Code Injectors with stock nozzles (160/0). They are a single shot injector.
I will be following Tugly's plan to a T. I'll enjoy the peace of mind, and my needs don't necessitate larger than stock nozzles.

Gauges I recommend: Fuel Pressure and dual EGTs... boost optional. I have OBDII gauges, which sees the boost and all the other critical stuff... but I also have a separate boost gauge because I can max-out the MAP sensor.
Stage II supporting mods? Let's start with transmission, turbo, fuel pressure gauge (a must, now), Hutch mod, ladder bars, big-*** air intake (I suggest CAI), 4" exhaust, custom tunes (maybe live tuning) and no guarantee your intake plenums will hold - mine didn't (I now have billet plenums). T500 may be on the list as well - not because a stock HPOP won't do it, but a tired HPOP isn't likely to.
Stage II ultimate cost? Wear shoulder pads... you're gunna feel that round clear the barrel.

Yes. Many of us have ACs, including myself. I had a chip-connection issue 400 miles from home a few weeks back. I had to pull the chip and drive on the stock tune. The throttle was touchy and the idle really sucked, but I drove home - getting over 18 MPG on Stage II sticks with a stock tune.
