I have a 1999 Ford Ranger xlt V6 4.0L 4X4 pick up truck. My radio cuts out only in reverse. The only thing I repaired is a dash bulb light . I replace the dash light bulb and put it back together. I have never been on forum before so I hope some can see this message. I never encountered problem like this one. Before the 1999 Ford Ranger I had a 1997 Ford Ranger XLT 2 wheel drive 2.3L and never had a problem changing out dash light bulbs.
