hello all, got a 2011 6.7 with a #7 glow plug code and # 7 misfire. been reading about glow plug causing engine failure. but I cant get the glow plug size figured out. I think he has the known issue. thanks in advance
nope.it just says remove glow plug.not tryin to be a dick but if someone looking for help with a issue and the first answer to everybody I,isnt it in the shop manual, would kinda defeat the purpose of this forum wouldn't it.just askin someone that has already done it for a little heads up.figured if yall had you would know and say 11mm or something like that.
I would say the wording in your signature has a lot to do with the attitude that you got. I wish I could tell you the size, but even though the Ram boys want me to believe different, my 6.7 has been virtually flawless in the last 3.5 years!

I spent 23 years in a stealership. I left because I watch the service manager and writers run stupid size bills up the customers ***. I just got tired of seeing that happen and went into business for my self.its nice to see my lot full of work and the area stealership empty and the techs polishing there tool boxes.
We weren't trying to be snarky, your profession as stated in your sig line is why we responded like that.
Only way for most all of us to find the answer to your question would be to open the hood and dig down into the motor to try different sockets, you have to do that anyway, so we were just at a standstill.
