1980-1983 Engine Swap
Hi all,
I am considering buying a 1983 f-150 with an in line 6 and I was wondering If it would be a easy swap over to my 1980 f150 that currently has a 300 in it.

That should be very straightforward. The minor difference you may see is that the 83 probably has a feedback carb and I don't think your 80 does. And there may be some other small differences in emissions equipment. But just use the 80's carb and other pieces and it should be a very easy swap.
