I just called O'Reilly and they had a Bosch rotor with lifetime warranty for 68. What's the word on that?
Could I get that and their pads with 2 year warranty and be done with it or?

Again, I don't tow and I drive fairly calmly

Thanks

I would calmly install some cheap pads and rotors only if you really need them. Works for me just fine.

I would seriously consider it.

Rear brakes provide only a small percentage of the stopping power.

Like I posted above, and Brent has too, get the cheapest, good quality pad and rotor and call it a day.

Sweet, it's decided. I talked to O'Reilly's and they can get the rotor in one day and they had the pads in stock.

Thanks for the replies

Didn't want to start ANOTHER brake thread. Our X has a build date of 10-20-99, about a month before the magical date of 11-29 (or so I've heard of them changing something with the front rotors). Does anyone know if the specs of these (front rotors / rear rotors) will work for us? The X is our only vehicle & I like the part where I don't have to walk back to the store w/ a 20 pound rotor!

Brake threads are good. I use my bicycle to get to the parts store.
