Meguiars interior detailer is safe for use on touch screens. When I picked up my truck there was a soft wipe provided with my owner's manual, etc. Did you not get this? I'm sure you could run by the dealer and pick up this cloth. It's blue, about 5" square.
soft wipe don't touch the finger prints... slightly smears them. need some type of mild solvent. see lots of iphone cleaners out there but want to see what wont harm the nav as i am sure is is covered with unobtanium, and i dont want to have to replace it.
try keeping a rubber tipped stylus in the dash pocket next to the nav...gives a more precise tap for commands, and no need for having greasy paws on the glass. Available in most dollar stores for a buck.
I run a few professional detail shops and This is what we use as well. A dry Microfiber Cloth is the safest way to clean your touchscreen. We don't use any solvents or chemical solutions due to the liability. I'm sure that there are some that are safe for touchscreen use but we find that the dry cloth ensures that no damage will occur.
If the dry cloth smears the fingerprints then flip the cloth and use a little more pressure.

Meguiars interior detailer is definitely the best, make sure you get the no gloss. They have one that Is supposed to be "Natural" (label written in red) it will smear like Armor All. I use that and a microfiber cloth for glass.

Agreed on the Meguiars usage for sure. Mother's used to be my "go to" but that has since changed with the line of "Ultimate" products from Meguiars. I'm really happy with their performance for my needs.
For glass however I use Stoner's Invisible Glass before and after a light buffing compound on the DA orbital. Talk about smooth as glass!
Sorry for the hijack OP. A good microfiber should get rid of the prints, but it might not take on the first swipe.

Yeah, I use Stoner's also, just saying that there are some microfiber cloths specifically made for glass, no lint whatsoever that I use on the touch screen.
I bought some Screen Cleaning Foam made by GE. I got it at Wally World, in the computer section. It removes greasy fingerprints off of my cell phone screen.
You could also go to the eye glass section, and buy q bottle of that lens cleaner they sell. It's in a cylindercal bottle, and comes with rag to clean the lens/screen.
