TPMS tool
I have my 2010 Ford F150 FX4 and just bought a 2014 Fusion, will my TPMS reset tool work on the fusion for when I change my winter tires around or do I have to buy a different one?
I bought mine on e-bay are they all the same or are the better ones out there?

Related: I had Discount tire mount winter tires on a set of OEM FX4 rims that I bought with the impression that I had the TPMS sensors in them (PO didn't know that the tire shop where he had aftermarket rims and tires put on his truck stole the TPMS sensors from the OEM wheels before remounting the tires). I have a set of OEM FX4 wheels and tires with the Ford TMPS as well as whatever Discount Tire installed for sensors.
Does the reset tool trigger something in the truck or in the TPMS sensors in the wheels? Will a reset tool designed to work with the OEM TPMS sensors correctly work on the Discount Tire sensors?
