Front Spring Swap

I have a 01 F350 with the 7.3L. Currently lifted with a 6" lift. Thinking of going back to stock but don't have the front leafs. Would '00 F250 V10 leafs work? Guy at work just lifted his and might be able to get them for free so that is why I ask ....

See if the spring code on the door stickers match between the 2 trucks. Drivers door pillar.

They'll fit, I don't know if they would be a little too soft or not. Do like Jeb said and check the sticker.

They will interchange, and they do not have to match codes, however like Jason stated, they might be too soft for your liking since he has a V10. You might be lucky though and his springs might be a V code spring. Check the door pillar like Jeb stated.

There's a ton (and I mean a ton) of spring information I have listed in the Excursion tech folder sticky thread. If you have some free time (like a week or so, LOL) check out the links I have listed for some good info.
