Check Engine Flash

Have own my Bronco for about two months now & notice that when i make a sharp enough turn my check engine light flash. But while I'm driving its perfectly fine. I wanted to get you guys take on it, oh & to add i probably need to replace my steering column because for one i have way too much play in the wheel & for two the tilt does not work.

Check for trouble codes. Since the CE light flashed, there is a good chance that code(s) have been stored in memory.

The KOEO (Key On Engine Off) test should do it.

As always, trouble codes point to an area or a condition seen, NOT to a particular part to be replaced.

As Torky said check your codes.
As for the steering column real easy to replace. But one word of advise after you get everything installed push the fuel cutoff switch to reset it. I chased my tail for a few hours wondering why the truck wouldnt start. The switch is on the fire wall just a few inches from the column and if you bump the fire wall it shuts off the gas. Just saying.
