EGR code 327 help
So I was told that the van (1996 E-350 Club Wagon, 5.8L) had a misfire when I bought it. The OBD2 plug doesn't connect (fuses good), but then I found the EEC-IV port under the hood. I don't get a misfire (also, have just done a full tune up on it btw), but a 327 "EGR valve position circuit below minimum voltage 2. EVP/EPT circuit below minimum voltage." I don't know much about EGR systems. I've always owned Jeeps that don't have them haha. How does one test an EVP sensor? How will this cause the van to run, because right now its pretty good but seems to be getting poor gas mileage (worse than normal I suppose haha) and doesn't seem to have great low end power. If one lets this code go (because I have no idea how long its been there since I just acquired the van) will it take out other components?
