inverted flare?
Hello, I am in the process of installing a '93-'97 AODE to replace a standard transmission in my '56 F100. I am installing a Derale remote cooler and am having problems with the fitting for the transmission end. I am guessing that it is a 1/2" 20 inverted flare fitting but on closer examination there was a rubber o-ring in one of the bosses on transmission. My local Napa didn't know the answer or did my local Ford parts dealer. I am running -6 an lines and ordered a 1/2" 20 inverted flare to -6an fitting and am hoping that it will work........it seems to fit alright just not sure on the seal/leakage.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated,
