Yea we are trying to stay close to stock, I see a early ford on the horizon to get serious with aftermarket injection , late model block.
Will keep my progress posted.
Now i am trying to get 9.5 cr with flat tops ,, gt40 64cc heads, .030 over, .039 gasket
92 block, D60E rods, stock stroke, compression height 1.797, deck height 9.503. .005 deck height
that all works if the rods are the correct length, so i'm looking for piston compression distance of 1.774 ,, my delima is can i cut 6cc off of +6.5cc flat tops to get my target CR ?
what piston do you think will work ?
i'm looking at kb124,, probe 12355,,sportsman spr138730,,icon 1c719ktd cheap to expensive
help ,, is cutting pistons good ?
