79 f100 missing...

79 f100 missing...
i have a 79 f100. checked cap and rotor... both are good... changed plugs and wires... still missing.. also. as of last night my alt gauge was bouncing, lights flickering, and was running like ****. any input on that? thanks

Make sure all your electrical connections are clean, tight and not frayed at the terminals. Check your shunt wire from the alternator for corrosion/ connection. Make sure the solenoid is grounded and connections are good. Especially check all your ground connections.
