On my 04 I have the ESOF system and my front hubs were replaced about seven times I think under warranty. First the drivers side then the drivers again and then both and then random until the 3yr36k warranty ran out. Mine would take fits sometimes they wouldn't lock at all so twice the dial turned and got me out then they didn't lock but the dual were rusted in the auto position would cost me two hundred dollars for a tow truck. After the warranty ran out I put stainless plugs in the knuckle, removed the vacuum lines at the pump and installed a silicon cap and a set of Warn Premiums on the axle. Since then I have never had a single problem and the electric tcase motor works perfect. But I use my 4wd at least three time a month and I engage the tcase once a day while I'm going down a lower speed road just to make sure everything is always working and moving to stop future problems
