lift kits and tires on 1999 expedition

Hey guys,
I have a 1999 expedition that id like to do a small lift and put aftermarket wheel and tires on (thinking 31-33s) I need some help with what is good and bad brands of lifts. Also, if anyone has done exactly what I'm wanting to do please post pictures and what brands you chose. I don't want it to look uneven as well when its lifted.

Thanks

How small of a lift? I'm running 285's (33's) at stock height right now with no rubbing. I bought some 2" lift spacers for the rear and plan on cranking the torsion bars to level out the front.

Seems to be very little made for the 97-03 Expy in this regard. I've been in a lot of talks with various techie types and am considering using my old leveling keys from my 98 F150 (pic below, it's on a 6" suspension lift now) and spacers under the rear coils to clear a slightly bigger tire.

Here's a pic. It's raining so I'll try to get some better ones later when it quits. Mine came stock with 265/70/17 which is about 31.5".

I have wanted to do the same. What spacers did you use and where did you buy them? How much of a hassle was the install?

I haven't installed them yet but shouldnt be bad . Pretty sure I got them on eBay but I'll check. I put a big subwoofer box in the back that probably weighs around 100lbs and that dropped the rear a little more. I'll put the 2" ones in and see how it sits then depending on how much adjustment I have left in the front end maybe get 3" spacers.

Thanks. Yours already looks to ride higher in the rear than mine. I also considered installing air springs/ bags.

I've read that the 97's and 98's tend to sit higher stock than the 99+'s.

Mine had the air ride kit on it at one time - so it sits a little lower than non-air versions.

Well I got the spacers on today. Not bad at all. Had a problem with one of the sway bar bolts being stripped out so had to cut it. Took about 2 hours total but I wasn't in a hurry. I tightened the torsion bars 5 turns- raised the front about 1 1/4". Still have some adjustment left. I might turn the front's down a little- it's about 1/4" higher in the front right now. Here's a few pics.
