hey I'm new here and i don't have a ford (yet) (my dad has a 08 f-150 and i love driving it ), i used to have a 93 XJ cherokee lifted 4" and I'm looking to get a ford ranger. i found this site hoping i can get some help with trying to find out the good and bad about rangers. i heard that the 4.0 is only really reliable in 2003+ rangers but i was wondering if anyone had any problems with any 2nd gen models. If its any help I'm looking to use it for some off roading so i will eventually lift it but mainly going to be used to go onto the beach to fish, haul my hunting equipment and deer, and obviously get me to school/work and home. any information would help thanks.
