Signing on from Green Country (n.e. oklahoma). I have inherited grandpas' 1990 Ranger 2.9L V-6 ext cab pick up. I am keeping it for that simple fact. I would like to do some more than modest upgrades to it over time since I will never get rid of it, I might as well put some power into it but keep with pops traditional laid back look (sleeper style). I have 3 years till my oldest will legally drive so I'll be looking for plenty of help!

I had an 89 Ranger with the 2.9. I still think that was the most bulletproof truck I have had to date. Makes me wish I would had never sold it...
Jump in the Ranger Forum and I'm sure you will find plenty of information and help on getting that Ranger just where you want it!
Don't forget to check out the Oklahoma Chapter also...

Those are nice trucks and there are a ton of things you can tweak on them. Check out our Ranger site for info about it. Be sure and stop by the Oklahoma chapter to see what your neighbors are doing.
